Offered are 171 copies of Sports Illustrated from January 7, 1957 to December 1972. Highlight covers include: 1957 All-Star Game issue (Musial/Ted Williams); 1958 All-Star Game Issue (Mantle, Mays, Musial, Banks); Eddie Mathews, Hank Bauer, Jackie Jensen, Billy Pierce, three 70's Swimsuit Issues (Inc. Cheryl Tiegs), Lew Alcindor/Willis Reed, Keith Magnuson, Tony Conigliaro (the Black Eye cover), Alex Karras, George Blanda, Roman Gabriel, Muhammad Ali/Joe Frazier (End of The Ali Legend cover), Oscar Robertson, Fergie Jenkins, Vida Blue, A.J. Foyt, Joe Greene, Frank Robinson, Ed Marinaro, Ken Dryden, Bill Walton (first cover), Johnny Bench, Dick Allen, Jack Nicklaus, Jim Kiick/Larry Csonka, Mark Spitz and Carlton Fisk. The issues are a mix of newsstand and subscription copies with labels or label residue. The original owner has written his name on a number of copies in pencil, and some have other writing. Excellent condition overall with a few lesser.
