Offered is a 1958 Elvis Presley Twice-Signed Contract for G.I. Blues, plus an archive of materials related to the production. This contract was signed on October 28, 1958, while Elvis was still in his first year of military service in the Army, and the film it covers would be produced nearly two years later when he was finished--that film would become G.I. Blues. As stated in the contract, Elvis was to be paid $125,000 payable in eight weekly installments of $15,625.00. Also $50,000 for expenses payable is eight weekly installments of $6,250.00. He would also receive 7.5 percent of the gross after the film earned out.
One sheet of paper is hand-signed by Elvis, Hal B Wallis, Joseph H. Hazen, and Col. Thomas Parker. The second sheet is hand-signed by Elvis, Hal B. Wallis and Joseph H. Hazen. Elvis signs in blue ballpoint pen. Also included are spreadsheets sharing more details on G.I.
