Offered is a 1960 Elvis Presley RCA 33 RPM 12-Inch Acetate with "G.l. Blues" - Title Track from the Film. "G.I. Blues" is the first recorded song as part of the soundtrack for the film. Its first LP release was on the eponymous soundtrack album in October 1960. These production acetates were made in very small numbers, by definition, and were made for reviewing purposes by the artist, producer, and, in this case, the studio. The acetate was made during the recording session on April 27, 1960, at RCA Hollywood Studios, when Elvis recorded eight different tracks for the soundtrack. The record presents in very clean VG+ condition.
