Offered is a 1962 "Follow That Dream" Final Script Dated May 29, 1961 ("Pioneer, Go Home") for the film starring Elvis Presley. This "Final Script" is dated May 29, 1961, and has the handwritten notation "FOLLOW THAT DREAM (RELEASE TITLE)" above the printed film name "Pioneer, Go Home" on the interior title page. The mostly white sheet paper script is bound into a plain black hardcover book with a white, typed label reading "FOLLOW THAT DREAM" affixed to the front. The script pages contain several blue and yellow corrections and additions sheets. "192" is written on the upper right.

Produced by The Mirisch Company in 1962, the film Follow That Dream starring Elvis Presley chronicles the endeavors of a patchwork family setting up a home and business along the roadside in Florida. Based on the 1959 novel by Richard Powell entitled Pioneer, Go Home!, the film's name was changed to Follow That Dream when the songwriters had difficulty rhyming with the word "pioneer." Walter Mirisch also liked the final title of the song so the motion picture’s name was officially revised.

The script, bound in a black hardcover presentation, shows only mild toning and signs of use wear. It has benefited and been well-preserved by the binding. Excellent to Mint condition.
