Offered are two more popular 1970's Elvis Presley souvenir posters sold at his concerts. Included are the 1973 Elvis Presley ?American Eagle? poster and the 1976-77 Elvis Presley "Blue Boy" souvenir poster. The ?American Eagle? poster image is of Elvis belting out a number during his worldwide broadcast concert special Elvis Aloha From Hawaii. The poster was often employed as stage dressing by Colonel Parker, always with an eye towards moving the merchandise! The "Blue Nail" jumpsuit which Elvis is wearing on the "Boxcar" promotional poster beckons the comparison to Gainsborough's painting known as "Blue Boy," giving this promotional poster its moniker. The paper "Blue Boy" souvenir poster is harder to acquire than most. Blue Boy measures 22 x 28 inches with edge wear and wrinkles from rolled damage, and The "American Eagle" poster measures 21 x 28 inches and presents with corner wear and some areas of tape on the back. Excellent condition overall.
