Offered is and Elvis Presley Owned Guitar Gifted to Memphis Mafia Member Marty Lacker's Daughter, so she could learn to play. Few of Elvis' "house" guitars have come to the auction block with provenance as solid as this one. The Epiphone Model FT-130 "Caballero" acoustic guitar has the blue interior label with "Made in Japan" on the lower right, indicating it was made between 1970-75. The accompanying May 19, 1990, letter from Sheri Lacker reads "My father, Marty Lacker, was a close friend and worked for Elvis Presley, for many years. I grew up at Graceland around Elvis. When I got into my teens I became interested in playing the guitar and Elvis gave me this Epiphone guitar, serial number 1135661."' The guitar shows moderate use but remains in excellent playing shape. Near Mint condition.
