Offered is an Elvis Presley VIP “Souvenir Opening Night Package” for the December 2-15, 1975 Las Vegas Hilton Concerts.
Elvis was in top form, in good health and high spirits as he began his holiday celebration on December 2, 1975, when his Pre-Holiday Jubilee opened in the showroom of the Las Vegas Hilton, where the occupancy was at 100% during the sold-out engagement dates. Elvis’ shows were so popular that during his tenure in Vegas he performed well over 500 consecutive sold-out shows, with the holiday celebrations being exceptionally joyous events and a wonderful way to ring in the holidays. Offered is a souvenir opening night package that was provided to guests with compliments from the Las Vegas Hilton. The paper packaging, advertising the show dates of December 2 thru 15, 1975 on the front in bold green letters, was full of promotional treasures including:
-Souvenir package envelope/bag measuring 11 3/4 by 11 1/2 inches;
-Summer Festival 1975 Las Vegas Hilton Souvenir Tour Photo with concert map on the reverse, measuring 11 by 8 1/2 inches;
-Summer Festival 1975 Hilton postcard, measuring 5 by 7 inches;
-Christmas postcard measuring 7 by 5 inches; and
-1976 Elvis Pocket Calendar Card measuring 4 by 2 1/4 inches;
These packages were sold for $3.00 during the subsequent shows of the concert series with the outer envelope changing to reflect the price. The bag has some moderate toning. Near Mint condition. The interior items are all in very clean, but just lesser condition.
