Offered is the 2nd base used in the game in which Albert Pujols his his 233rd and 234th career Home Runs. On September 08, 2005, at Busch Stadium in a game against the New York Mets, Pujols hit home runs off of Mets pitcher Kris Benson in the 6th and 7th innings, stepping on the offered 2nd base during each round-tripper. The photo shown here captures Pujols just after touching the offered base on one of his home run trots. The base shows signs of heavy game use, with dirt covering the top. A large "Busch Stadium Final Season" logo is printed on the top of the base, and the bottom has the MLB Hologram sticker authenticating the base's use during these historic moments. Near Mint with expected wear from game use.
