Offered is a 2018 Adam Wainwright Signed and Inscribed "Opening Day" Game Used Batting Helmet . The Rawlings size "7 3/8" has the "ON Field Equipment" tagging, and Wainwright's number "50" on the back. The MLB Hologram Authentication confirms the helmet was issued and used for the game on April 4, 2018. Wainwright signed with his number on the brim along with the inscription "2018 Opening Day." While the Cards opened on March 29 that year, this was Wainwright's first action, hence his "opening day." The photo shown here is Adam wearing the same style helmet (and possibly this very helmet) less than a week later. Accompanied by Hologram stickers from MLB and Beckett Authentic. Near Mint condition with minor signs of wear from his one plate appearance in the game.
