Offered is a 4-page love letter hadwritten by Jethro Tull frontman Ian Anderson. The letter is written to "Yvonne" - Yvonne Nicholson was an actress and Anderson's girlfriend during the late 1960s when Jethro Tull was first taking shape. The long missive implore's her to marry him several times, and whimsically rambles through all the things he would do for her (or to her!) if she would. He seems to be walking the razor's edge between romantic devotion, ironic humor and frantic panic as he winds through the letter, finishing with a flourish as he concludes "Write back to me. Please or I will marry someone else. Honest. Ian" Accompanied by LOA from Beckett Authentic. Near Mint condition.
