The "First Annual International Palm Beach Music & Art Festival" was held from November 28-30, 1969, at the International Raceway in West Palm Beach, Florida. The Rolling Stones made it the concluding show of their 1969 American tour, just before the infamous Altamont Free Concert. Janis Joplin with her Kozmic Blues Band were featured along with Jefferson Airplane, Sly & the Family Stone, The Byrds, King Crimson, Johnny Winter, Steppenwolf, Country Joe & the Fish, and Spirit.

They include Jimi Hendrix from the first rock festival on the East Coast, The 1968 Miami Pop Festival, two stunning photographs of Mick Jagger and Janis Joplin from The 1969 Palm Beach Pop Festival and a classic image of Johnny Cash brandishing two six-shooters in his home! Ken's work rarely comes up for auction, but now at age 77, he has been convinced to release a few of his legacy images. 

Ken got his first camera when he was 8 years old, and he started working in his father's Palm Beach, Florida photography studio by the time he was 17. During his decades-long, award-winning career, he has photographed seven U.S. Presidents, many Royals, countless Celebrities, the Launch of Apollo 11, the 1972 Democratic and Republican Conventions, Major League Baseball for five years, and a massive number of rock concerts and festivals. This is an incredible opportunity to acquire historic images from the history of Rock & Roll.
