   Your Sept 30th letter has reached me here as I am working at Columbia Movie Studio on the Life of the Late General George S. Patton Old Blood and Guts don’t know if you know it or not But as M/Sgt Frank S. Leavitt my real monicker (Man Mt. Dean ia a nom de plume) I served with the General when He was 2nd Lt. in the Pershing expedition into Mexico Vera Cruz 1914 and through to Nogales Arizona all the way to ____  old Mexico 1916. the First World War I in the tank Corps he was then a Lt. Colonel and in the Desert here in California Early 1942 until we shoved off for North Africa landing twice Nov 8 and 9that Fedela and Casablanca in ___ 1942 also through Sicily the Entire 35 days when I had to go back when I had to go back to help form another army and then back to states in military Internal Intelligence as a personal combat instructor that’s all for little me. Your letter travele to St. Louis then to Paul Jones wrestling Promoter at Atlanta then up to my Home P.O.
