Offered is a 1956 Elvis Presley Original News Service Photo from his Infamous Gas Station Fight. The United Press photo is dated October 26, 1956, and maintains its original paper caption, which reads: "Clarence Harwell, owner of the Memphis Service station that was the scene of Elvis Presley's fight with two attendants last week, talks things over with Elvis in Presley's home in Memphis. He apologized to the singer and his parents." The photo was published in that days edition of the The Philadelphia Inquirer. The photo is second generation that would be classified "Type III" by PSA/DNA. Measures 10 x 7 inches with expected markings and wear from newsroom use. Excellent condition.
