Offered are two 1960's-70's Elvis Presley News Service Wire Photos documenting two key periods of his legendary career and life. the first is dated "2/8/60" and captures Elvis on maneuvers while serving in Germany during his Army service. The caption in the photo reads in part: "Grafenwoehr, Germany: Singer Elvis Presley (C), who was recently promoted to acting Sargeant, warms his hands over a small fire while participating in the U.S. Army's 'Winter Shield' maneuvers near her, 2/6." The second is dated "Jan. 16" 1971 and shows Elvis and Priscilla at the U.S. Jaycees prayer breakfast that was part of the "Ten Outstanding Young Men" award ceremonies. Both second generation photos measure 8 x 10 inches and presented with expected wear from editorial and filing use. Excellent condition.
