This lot is part of a rare, factory-sealed 288-card 1984-85 Star Company Basketball complete set being offered in 12 offerings in this auction. The cards remained untouched in the 24 original factory-sealed poly bags exactly as issued in 1984-85. The highlight is the Chicago Bulls bag that contained Michael Jordan’s true rookie card (#101) along with two additional Jordan cards (#s 195 & 288) in the Olympic/NBA Awards bag. The two bags with MJ's cards were opened, and his cards were immediately sent to PSA for grading--the remainder of the team bags are being offered sealed. The set also features the rookie cards of future Hall of Famers Hakeem Olajuwon, Charles Barkley, and John Stockton, as well as cards of Hall of Famers Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and more, all safely ensconced inside their sealed team bags.
