Offered is a 2001 Johnny Cash Signed "National Medal of Arts" Presentation Invitation. Also included is his "Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Cash" place setting "card" which is actually a small engraved stone piece. On March 22, 2002, President and Mrs. Bush presented medals to the recipients of the National Medal of Arts and the National Humanities Medal for the year 2001. The evening also featured entertainment including a duet with Yo-Yo Ma and Condoleezza Rice. In addition to Johnny Cash, the National Medal of Arts Recipients for the year 2001 were Alvin Ailey, Rudolfo Anaya, Kirk Douglas, Helen Frankenthaler, Judith Jamison, Yo-Yo Ma, and Mike Nichols. LOA from Beckett Authentic. The card Cash signed has been laminated. Near Mint.
