Offered are Elvis Presley's Neostyle Nautic Gold Glasses Given by Priscilla Presley to the Star of This is Elvis for Screen Use by the actor who portrayed Elvis. The accompanying letter from actor Johnny Harra reads in part:

"I Johnny Harra starred in the movie 'This Is Elvis' portraying Elvis Presley at age 42. This movie was filmed at Graceland all the clothes I wore were the personal property of Elvis Presley and were taken directly from Elvis' closet and wardrobe including this pair of 'Nautic' style eyewear that came out of Elvis' own collection. I was given this pair to wear during filming and was to return them on completion but was told at the end of filming that I had done such a believable job of portraying Elvis that I could keep this pair compliments of Elvis Presley and Graceland. They have been in my possession for almost 20 years now; the only thing I did to them is having my name 'Johnny Harra TCB' engraved on one arm. These were Elvis' eyewear and came directly from Elvis' bedroom where we did much of the filming. They have the original markings on the arms 'Neostyle' Made in Germany 140 Nautic 822. These were Elvis' eyewear and I was told he wore them during the filming of 'Elvis On Tour.'"

Elvis discovered the Nautics in the early 1970s at Optique Boutique in Beverly Hills. Based on an interview with the creator of the Nautic glasses, Neostyle designer Konstantin Livas, he recounts how Elvis first saw the sunglasses: "NEOSTYLE also successfully launched the NAUTIC in the USA. Elvis saw them at his opticians on Sunset Boulevard, Los Angeles. He liked them so much he ordered 5 there and then a further 3 solid gold frames ornately embellished on temples."

On the interior of the right arm is stamped "NEOSTYLE MADE IN GERMANY 140," and on the interior of the left arm is stamped "140 NEOSTYLE 822." The glasses present with the original prescription lenses made for Elvis. On the nose pads are printed "NEOSTYLE". Harra had his name and "TCB" engraved on one of the arms. Near Mint condition. Also included is a complete press kit from This Is Elvis, with photos and production information.
